📝 About "Change Owner" (Round Ownership System)
In KangarooDeFi, every prediction round has an Owner. The Round Owner:
Earns 5% of the total pool at the end of the round.
Pays fees to generate UP & DOWN tokens and create liquidity pools.
Covers costs for closing rounds and distributing rewards.
💰 Rewards are paid in KWBNB — you can easily convert (unwrap) them back to BNB using the "Unwrap KWBNB" menu in the app.
🔄 How to Become the Next Round Owner
Anyone can become the Owner of the Next Round by paying the displayed "Change Owner Cost" (shown in BNB).
When you pay:
You become the new owner for the next round.
The previous owner gets back their original cost (last cost).
The round continues until the closing time.
📊 How the Cost Works
The minimum new cost is calculated like this:
New Cost = Last Cost (paid by previous owner) + Round Fee (e.g., 0.03 BNB)
Example:
Last owner paid 0.03 BNB
Round fee is 0.03 BNB
New minimum cost = 0.06 BNB
If you pay, you take ownership, and the last owner gets refunded their last cost.
⏳ What Happens If No One Pays?
If no one pays to become the next round owner:
The current round gets extended (it doesn’t close).
The open price for the next round stays the same.
The round number also stays the same (e.g., BTCUSDT-15m Round #15 remains Round #15).
Once someone pays to change the owner:
The current round will close normally at the end of its time.
The open price is recorded and used for the next round.
❓ Example
Round: BTCUSDT-15m, Round #15
Open Price: 92,000 USDT
No one paid the round cost → round extends 15 min again, open price stays 92,000.
If someone pays during this time → round closes at end, new round starts with correct open price.
